06 Mazda5 bumper conversion

I just recently acquired a 2006 Mazda5 sport with fairly low miles. I wanted to change it up a bit and mod it. I was looking at the 2009 Mazda5 and noticed a difference in the bumper. Could an 09 bumper fit my 06?

my gut tells me that it will be a simple bolt-on swap. however, you will need all the grill and fog light trim pieces. best bet would be to find a wrecked mazda5 that has the full front bumper available and grab all that you can.

Headlights are different too, so you will have to replace those with the grill bumper and fogs

At first I was thinking headlights/fenders as well, but then I realized he's updating from 2006 to 2009 bumper (not 2012+ bumper). I don't think headlights/fenders changed for that facelift, did they?

Yes, they were slightly different in shape. Hood is the same though...

I personally like the 2011+ style front bumper. But I doubt even the front fenders would fit my 2006. Not to mention the hood, bumper cover, and lights.
