The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Looks like it's been sitting outside with the hood, windows, and hatch open for 6 years. Probably only worth its weight in scrap at this point and the chassis' likely screwed in addition to the engine. Still considered taking the trip to look at it though...

Too big for me.

Anybody watching Le Mans this weekend? Who has the best chance at beating Audi?
Le Mans, World Cup, Father's Day... I'm getting nothing accomplished this weekend.

I will make it cheap enough that you can keep them in your garage. I just don't have the space and then I will probably buy wheels for them if they are sitting there. So needless to say I want them away from me haha

Would these be ok on 18x7.5 wheels? I'll need a new set by the end of the season for sure.

Please tell me how well these rotors work...

And for Larry:
Looking around at some wheels this morning found a couple deals:
Tenzo Type M: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/pts/4464684951.html
RX8's for CHEAP: http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/pts/4483620365.html
Drag dr-31's for a good price with tires: http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/4469745783.html

Thanks Patrick. Not really looking for 18's but those are pretty good prices.
Hmmm, RX8's on a CX5? Anyone got photoshop skills?

According to Mike Coyne, less braking surface means better brakes, yO!

Nate, check out the pic Patrick posted and look at the drilled rotors. ;)

So according to Jalopnik, Audi rebuilt the car overnight. That's freaking amazing.

My favorite comment from a reader on Jalopnik:
"You can fix that much damage in one night, but it takes a week to get my car back after an oil change and an alignment? Screw you Audi."

Audi said yesterday that the car was damaged beyond repair and that they would be using a new chassis with the approval of the ACO. Jalopnik got that wrong and I see that they have since amended the article.

I'd like to get 17's, and be able to swap them around all 3 vehicles. Problem is the CX5 use 225/60 tires. A bit tall for the cars, so there would be some un-mounting and mounting involved. I wouldn't mind 18's for the CX5. There are a few sets of genpu speed3 wheels in the for sale section. I think they would look pretty nice.

I just looked MOTM thread. Anyone know what the childishness was that got deleted? Did someone say something about all the hard parked/busted suspensions that are entered?
