Replaced it with ease. One of the more simple things I've done recently. Nice to have power steering back
Well at least it wasn't the steering rack. That would be another story...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Is that your EZ Tag toll road thing on the lower grill? I have seen those around here and thought I prefer the sticker thing on inside of windshield where no one could mess with it.
Ahhhhhhhhh, loves me some mellow frwy exhaust note in the early a.m..............still diggin this car as much as 10 yrs ago when I drove it home from the dealership...well, probably more since it was stock then.
Pic of this?.....the MSM rearview cover. Simply looks much better.![]()
Looks good. Color looks bronze-ish. Did you rattle can, Plastidip, or something else?
I might have been fixin to drill mine too high. I thought it would be centered in housing. I better check that out again before drilling. Thanks for pics for reference.....I knew I had some pics uploaded... here's what mine look like:
Oh, cool.............except I likes me auto-dimming/temp/compass fat boy mirror (but it needs homelink so I can lose the remote)
Placed 4th!!! (out of 4 due to being on street tires and much lower on HP compared to the competition).
I had the same tag on mine for 3 years until I noticed that whenever I drove to Buffalo NY the tag never read there and I had to call up ezpass customer service and argue with them. It worked fine in NJ. Apparently those tags do not work in Buffalo area on I90. Was tired of calling them every year as went to Buffalo once each year for the holidays so I exchanged mine for the new slim windshield one that I stick where the tinted top of the windshield is and now I have no more read problems.Yes, that's my EZ Pass transponder on the lower grill. It's simply ziptied on but I need to add some spacers to tilt it up as it's hit or miss on whether the signal gets processed. Had the white windshield transponder for years but swapped it out for this one after I installed the MSM rearview cover. Simply looks much better.![]()
