Has anyone used einszett Klima Cleaner to clean their A/C system?

I was doing some research on removing stale smoke smell from interiors and there are a lot of recommendations for einszett Klima cleaner which cleans the a/c system at it's core. My only conern is it requires spraying a foam directly into the evaporator core. Most reviews say to insert the included hose straight down the center vents and then it will reach the core. Wait 30 minutes, and then turn the AC on full blast. Does anyone know if the center vent on a CX9 would be the proper place to insert the product to reach the evaporator core?

Close to the can it gets some foam. Put a towel or paper napkin under it. Never had any issues with it, being using these two products for a couple of years now.

Where do you place it at in the cx9? Do you cover anything up at all? And do you leave the 2nd a 3rd rows up or down? Thanks for the help!

On the second row between the center console and the seats. Put a towel under the can, you can also put a towel on the second row seat that's in front of the can.

I picked up some ozium yesterday, both the spray and stick on discs, since I could find it at my local auto parts store. The wife said it seemed better this morning, but it was only really noticeble when it sits in the sun...so that will be the true test.
