Best Flywheel Replacement

So I'm feeling a little broke, I have almost $3k into my car rebuild and I still need a flywheel. I know fidanza seems to be the best but I don't have an extra $300 laying around. Anyone have any brand suggestions for stock replacement? Oem will probably be expensive and I would like to stay under $150.

Also I've read msp used the same weight of flywheel as the protg5, is that true?

i just used an off the shelf oem quality duralast brand from autozone for mine, havent noticed anything wrong with it or anything that would signal slower shifts or worse performance than stock.

Good to know. I just want to use good quality parts because I don't plan on pulling my transmission again anytime soon.

I got the Perfection Flywheel that Advance Auto sells for $76. There's always an ongoing discount code for Advance Auto that you can find on slickdeals to make it cheaper. I switched mine out back in Oct. 2013 and everything has been good thus far. I mainly wanted to switch it out because I was getting a good amount of chatter. Chatter free driving the last few months has been wonderful!
