The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I filed last Friday. Nothing yet. Should be here soon tho. Gotta replenish what the down payment for the Fiat took.

Waiting for dave to give me a paper saying the gov is doubling the return of college students for some reason.... Get all the money I can!

Officially out of the break-in period on the Fiat. Woo. Now to see how 18psi feels on a little 1.4L.

Another delivery screwed up be FedEx.... **** me. The receptionist has signed for a box of wine before, what's different about today? Apparently I have to be available whenever he decides to show up... God forbid he has to wait or, I don't know, HAVE THE RECEPTIONIST OF THE ******* COMPANY SIGN FOR IT!

So I just realized I only have 18 more payments left on the MS3 and it will be 100% paid off!! I just hit 117,000 miles yesterday. I've had the car almost 4 years (will be 4 years in April). I bought the car with 10,000 miles on it. I just did some rough calculations for how much money I've spent on gas to fuel this car for 107,000 miles and I think I might be sick now. 107,000 miles, 24mpg average, $3.59/gal...total fuel cost=$16,000!! IS THAT RIGHT???? If so, that's pretty crazy to think that by the time I pay it off, I will have paid almost the same amount fuel the car as I originally paid to buy the car LOL.

I'm hoping that when it's paid of in about 1.5 years, Mazda has plans to release a new performance car. If it's something with AWD and a good amount of power, I'll most likely buy it for my DD.

Holy Crap, #2. This just made me sick. I've put 60k on mine in 18 months. Don't even want to calculate how much I've spent

I certainly do not want to calculate how much we have spent for gas with ours, either! I'll remain ingnorant of those facts.....

TROOF!! i never enter the price of gas in my Fuelly app for that same reason, id rather be oblivious to the amount ive spent haha

same reason i never actually did a tally on all the money spent on mods either... haha

My average is 40k miles every 2 years, the MSM has had 30k in 2.5 years without driving it 2 winters. Should make up some of that this year with another trip to NY.

I have a spreadsheet with every mod I did with the dates and amounts. It's also surprisingly high. I started tracking my gas fill-ups about a year ago using the aCar Android app. I'm glad I did because I now know that since I moved closer to my work, I've been spending about 50% less on gas every month.

I'm putting the price in on my fuelly on the Fiat just becasue it's new enough I can get a good measure on it. I'm kinda curious. Last tank got me around 270 miles and cost me $28 to fill it. The Honda, same miles would cost me closer to $37 or $38. I can dig it.

It may get a little more expensive now that the break-in is done and you can use and or over use the boost.

How small is the tank in one of those?

Impromptu meet today if you're free. Meeting Marlon at Track First in Hudson at 2 and then Texas roadhouse in stow after for lunch.

When April's 2 is flashing on E, I'm lucky to put 8.5 gallons in it for around $25-$30. Probably close to the same tank size of 10 gallons.
