We recently relocated to Europe and my employer was nice enough to ship our beloved 2012 Mazda-5. Rather than trust an overpriced German mechanic, I changed the oil myself. 5 quarts of 0W20 (full synthetic) and a filter put me back almost $45 and I went to the army base to use the lift at the Landstuhl Hobby Shop. When I reached under the car to drain the oil the PLUG WAS BARELY FINGER TIGHT, and I had lost some oil! Not enough to light the idiot light. There wasn't a washer or a gasket on the plug (I'm not sure if there's supposed to be) and I made sure it was tight when I was finished.
