The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

First mod... grill delete. - yes
Second mod... roll bar. - how tall are you? won't do much with stock seats as your head most likely will stick out
Third mod... Megasquirt PNP? - I thought about this, would have been cheaper than a Hydra but the support you get from FM is amazing.

how I would do things, now that I've been through it:

- basic maintenance: all fluids replaced, brakes, coolant, timing belt, etc. you won't have to worry about some of these with that mileage.
- boost gauge
- short shifter
- suspension (you'll enjoy the car, like a lot more)
- BPV
- TBI
- CAI
- catback
- dp (highly suggest a boost controller)
- ECU upgrade

There are other things that would depend on your preference, I did my stereo with 2 amps and a sub. Some people think its pointless in a miata, but I like my setup. Also, I like Begi's intake over FM's, but that's just me.

Tell me this doesn't sound like a damn scam. Selling wheels and tires on Craig's List.

Thanks for your reply,, I have gone through the ad again and i am willing to make the purchase, and I will be paying you with a check.

Please let me have your Full name and mailing address so that I can mail you a check for the payment as soon as possible, and as for the pickup, I will send a shipper to come for the pickup after you have deposited the check and the money has cleared into your account.

Finally, I will like you to pull the ad off craigslist so that I can be assured we have a deal. Hoping to read back from you soon ,

I'm just under 6ft tall (stupid spinal compressions!! lol). I plan on doing some seat modification shortly after getting it home. Megasquirt has a fantastic following so I'm not that worried about support when it saves almost 1k. This won't be the first car I've tuned but then again we'll see what happens when that time comes.

I'll be going through all of the fluids, belts and hoses right away. I did the same on my 13k mile MS3.

As for the other stuff it will likely have to wait until after winter. Any experience with 16" wheels on an MSM? I have about $950 to play with for wheels and snow tires. I also have the ability to mount and balance whatever I purchase for free.

Damn this cold weather and over boost. Messing with wastegate duty cycles and IAT comp to see if I can keep it under control.

Only took 1 year to start messing around in ATR. Thank goodness for tuning guides and YouTube videos lol

I used stock wheels with Blizzaks, you should be fine with 16s

the joys of modded cars... after the alignment its rubbing all over, so they have to take apart the front to raise it more...

Are they doing a corner balance as well?

I would like a real setup for the Fatty in the spring.

Worth $8900? some mods, looks like CAI, SU blow-off and maybe a TMIC? Clean Carfax and has been registered in Texas all it's life

Fees will take it to $9072.12 plus either shipping or flying down and driving back

might give them a call, maybe they can go lower if they don't have to deal with ebay & paypal fees?

Eff me that thing is clean under the hood. That looks like a pretty good deal.
