What have you done to your MSP today?

of course assuming that you have a good alignment, and you dont do burnouts and whip every corner. a year is realistic

ya true. if you had to choose between nt05 and 615k... what would you choose? I keep reading good reviews on the nt05 also(roughly same tread-ware and specs in that aspect)

200 tread wear should last you over a year. I used them on the road and autoX for a year and still had some meat ledt on them.

Shaved the rear end badges off and welded the hole shut. Took off the wing too for now. My car is in its ugly duckling phase right now. Preping everything for new parts.

i enjoyed my falken azenis 615 k's. they had good cold grip too. look at direzzas z1 star specs too

Good cold grip? Man... our definitions of cold grip must be different. The MSM breaks loose in 3rd with those in the cold. When warm, I have a hard time breaking loose in 1st.

I have 23k miles on my set of RT-615K's. If it wasn't for that whole lack of rotation thing last summer, I guarantee I could get more on them. I had some 400 tread wear tires on them before these and barely got 22k out of them. I dunno... YMMV, but the same thing happened on my P5, with lots of auto-x miles and track use from the guy who had them before me.

ive never been on NT05's, but i would tend to trust Falkens more than Nittos...

by cold grip, i mean they would grip great in the early morning autocrosses before id have runs on them to warm them up.

I went the same too and not really liking it that much or it is going to take some time. I keep looking back thinking the wing fell off. Rewired dash and gauge light, installed AFR gauge, fixed O2 wires, and fixed a broken ground that was causing erratic sputtering to the MAP sensor. More BCR stuff today.

livelyjay- sweet skid plate install, does it hang very low at all?
I got the plate install finalized last night. On a 2003 MSP there's aboug 1/8" gap between it and the bottom of the bumper. That should work nicely to channel some air into the radiator and IC. The back end attached to the cross member support (the ladder plate) and sits flush. It sits just barely below the oil pan, hardly any gap. I'll take some better pictures now that it's on the car, and the car is pretty much ready to come off of the jack stands.

What is normal for afr's when cruising and WOT? I think I'm running rich when cruising and way lean when on boost :(

youre gonna want a 12.0 to 12.5 at WOT. if its above that then dont go WOT. cruising should be about 13-14

they should work. i just personally am not a fan of buying much ebay hardware or parts because of so many sketchy vendors. i bought my camber bolts from cross over auto last week and should be installing my bolts hopefully by the end of this week.

There's no reason to not be 14.7 while cruising. You'll get the best mileage there. Mine sits at 14.7 all day cruising.

Oh I know just wanted to see if bolts were ok to use... Thanks, will be getting from crossover though
