The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

i find that car quite ugly, however the performance you can get from that car (even in stock form) for the price you can buy them at, is still pretty damn impressive!!

I would agree with that. But tint the windows and put wheels on it, you're golden.

I don't think the GTO is ugly and would take a 6Litre any day. I would still love to have the 30th anniversary TA's with the WS6 package. They might not turn the greatest, but they still are a blast.

A buddy's dad has a 99 30th with like 26k on it. It's mint as hell.

I actually checked on mine. It only goes up $400/6 months. That's not bad considering my Mazda is $330/6 months right now.

Mine would have been about $1000/6 months. Currently the Miata is $520/6 months. That sold it for me.

Good grief thats expensive for insurance. I figured the msm would be a bit cheaper to insure than that. Then again, i dunno what your driving record looks like lol

also depends what for deductibles and coverage he has on it too...
for example; he might pay 500/6 months but have full coverage, no deductibles and pretty much have it to where anything that happens, insurance would cover it....

Hmm... the insurance on my STi is $350/6 months. The MSM insurance is expensive.

True as far as the deductible and how much coverage he has.

With $500 deductible, my insurance is $61.46 a month full coverage.

i pay 80 a month but have no deductibles
it was less than 10 bucks a month difference, and id have to keep it for 4+ years with no claims before it would even out to one claim with a deductible so i added it.

Do you have coverage for your aftermarket stuff?

Clean record. Very low deductibles, very high coverage (they paid for the engine swap in the Civic after the hydrolock). The MSM is cheaper than my Protege was. My total insurance bill for 3 cars and renters insurance is around $260 a month.

Thats not all too bad then. Especially if they cover stuff like hydrolocking a motor

When I was with State Farm they said they would cover any aftermarket parts as long as they were bolted to the car. That was just their standard policy.

correct, however you can also add value to said parts and add a little coverage, which is nice for the rack and my OZ's cause both would be a pain to find/replace should something happen to either
