I wonder how long it took her to get the gears down - she seems to be very "natural" at it. Seeing how she "hasn't driven stick in awhile" and I've seen a new person drive My car before - that's a bit fishy. Just sayin'
 
Eh, i think of it like riding a bike...you dont forget. She did bounce it off the rev limiter a few times.

My dad hadnt driven a manual since '01, he drove my car a few months ago and did fine except for getting moving in 1st. He said the clutch was tricky compared to his old chevy.
 
Evan's build thread is locked, for some reason it won't let me access the last 2 pages. Could someone else give it a try to see if it works for them? I would like to read what I missed.

The forum had a glitch last night where it was doing that to all the threads. Evan #2 was the last post I remember seeing.
 
+1 on not forgetting how to drive stick. My mom hadn't since the 70s, yet can still move my cars around and drive them lol.
 
sooooooooooo... I found out today that I don't have to pay rent this month (naughty)

When I moved in, I was told that if I signed up for them to take rent out of my account automatically I would get a free month after 30 months. About half way through that I changed banks so 1 month I payed with check, so I was told that I was no longer eligible for that plan. Turns out I was, didn't even charge me for the garage!

I'm GLAD they honored that, because in the grand scheme of things, ONE month of paying by check BECAUSE you were switching banks, should NOT have voided that deal.

I could be wrong, but I gathered it got locked because of some drama ... I missed it too. I just got a 'vibe' iykwim.

You're not missing anything. I had enough of the car and wiring so I sold it to Wes. Which caused drama so I asked a mod to lock it.
