2014 Mazda6 Project

Check Superbrightleds.com for all your LED needs and search out some BMW aftermarket sights. I e seen a few angeleyes upgrades. If you want 19" wheels, I am still selling my stocks for a killer deal. Hope the bulb numbers match from your old HID kit.

if you would be closer i would take those away from you...if you ever drive closer to Watertown let me know..i want those..thanks

I did not replace the headlight bulbs, mine is a GT and has Bi-Xenon HID light on them. I just converted my fogs to HID's. I recommend you follow the ownwr's manual on what parts to remove to get the the bulbs under the hood. I tried shortcuts and trust me, it's better to follow what Mazda says to do.

I just installed the Kensun 5000k 35w H11 HID kit in my 2014 touring. Install was extremely easy, took all of about 30 minutes. Any hid kit you buy should have the harness built in for connecting the ballast to the cars power, and from the ballast to the bulb. The bulb just screws in place of the old one.
Unbutton your wheel wells and its easy access. They look really good, very bright with good cutoff.
the kensun have a 2 year warranty and really good reviews on amazon.

also replaced all of my interior lights and license plate light.

Here is a link to a kit for all of the interior LEDS (can be bought separately for way cheaper)

these are the ones i used for the license plate light:

Oh I see. Sorry I miss read your post. I just trying to replace the headlight bulbs with a super bright look. Instead of the stock the touring model comes with

I'm not sure what size the headlights are but search the forum, someone posted a bulb chart for 3rd gen Mazda 6 and pick up an HID kit for yours. Spend a few bucks more and do research. Sometimes the $30 kits end up costing you more due to the constant replacements of cheap ballasts.

cmarti..about upgrading the headlights..

they are H11

go up a few posts..

If you are handy with tools, it's a pretty easy install. Let me know if you want instructions, I can walk you through. I can PM you a step by step. Don't pay anyone to do such an easy job. Majority of the labor is removing and installing the plastic covers.

Looks great, but I would lower it at all, its nice as it is (was).
I am also thinking about new wheels, but I am not sure if they will fit or some modifications will be needed :(
For the tyres 245/40 R20 , did you needed to change something in the wheel area ? Doesnt it hit the body by driving ?

Sounds good. I was wondering if I Should get a HID kit with a Canbus?

Damn that is one Hot 6!!! Nice work!
Dark tint all around, ceramic clear tint on the windshield and moon roof, gloss black wrap up top. K&N filter dropped right in. Last will be LED lights and she's done...for now. The tips are 4" generic double wall stainless slash tips. Was $60 to cut stock tips close to the bend, weld taper, weld tips to stock. Mirrors will stay white. Thanks to Brian at Impressive Wraps for the roof, Ralph at SWR Motorsports for the tint and Chris at Grand Prix Tires for the wheels and tires.

Unfortunately, I decided to put the plates on...yes, the front ones. I drove my truck without a front plate for 7 years and it gets expensive. Even the meter maids give out no front plate tickets. I just don't want any reason to be pulled over and hassled for the tint, too.

How dark did you go on the tints? I have the same one and trying to figure out how dark to go. Please let me know love the look.

Love this car. I read that the car is not lowered, but if i look to the rear wheels of your car and my Mazda 6 i see that your car is about 4 cm lower then mine. Can you tell me how that is possible?.?.?

I thought of lowering mine car with h&r springs, but i do not want to lose suspension (?)

I hope that you know what i mean, but english Is not my Mother language.

car looks ******* amazing man.

My mom just picked up one a few weeks in black w/ the tech package. Really wanting to steal it from her haha

Monkee,
Fantastic looking 6! Hoping Mazda decides to release a SPEED version of the 6 soon.
