What have you done to your MSP today?

I got my motor cleaned up and ready to put in the car, just have to get my pope down pipe powder coated, get a radiator, and get a few gaskets and ill be ready to swap out the motors

Powder coat will discolor and look terrible after a while from the extreme heat. Id recommend ceramic coating instead.

^this, plus the fact after a few heat cycles the powder will start to fail and fall off. I would have the pope ceramic coated like Clever mentioned.
 
I wish I would of seen this sooner... I just dropped the down pipe off this morning to get powder coated
 
I would quickly call them and get it changed. The process is very similar and shouldn't cost much extra if at all. And like mentioned it'll be a waste of money since it'll fail eventually.

It's to late, he started working on it right after I dropped it off, the guy doing it don't do ceramic coating just high temp powder coat. I guess I'll get it ceramic coated when the powder coat starts failing...
 
Oil & filter change. Then discovered that my wheel lock key no longer works. Once I get those POS off I'm replacng them with lugs. Guess I waited to long to do that.
 
Check engine light came on, it's an o2 sensor bank 2. This would be the one in the exhaust pipe correct?
 
Fix that s***! What exactly was the failure anyway...? 0 Compression but why... was the tune good? Need J&S!

I really doubt the tune was the issue, so far I tried a wet compression test which also yielded 0 (in this case a good thing!) I got a tiny camera and couldn't see a hole in the piston either. I borrowed a differential cylinder pressure tester and will check the valves at some point this week, then I'm going to take out the head either way. At that point its gonna be either replace the head or if its piston damage then I scrap the car.
 
Installed ksport coils today, crazy stiff, gonna try to work it out tomorrow

So I'm going to be looking at another car tomorrow, the head should come out this weekend. I'll know more then.. I pretty much made up my mind.. its getting fixed unless there's bottom end damage.
 
Today i get to find out how much lighter my pocket book is going to be.... looking forward to it just a little but then again not so much... 3rd gear gone in the trans not so much fun... might be upgrading to par 3rd and 4th if its only a little bit more then the stock replacement parts.

Who knows I may have a transmission with par gears for sale soon :p

Jaleik, are you running straightcut or helical? And is it a full or just certain gears?

I like the idea of hte full par gearset but not to keen on having ot change the trans fluid every 3k alon with the oil.
