Halogen Projector Specifications

I have tried to find all the specs and dimensions for the halogen projectors but I am not having good luck. I even emailed TRS (TheRetroFitSource) and they have no been able to examine a CX5 yet. I am trying to find out what HID projectors will fit in place of the stock projector. I know I can just throw in a bulb/ballast set and go. But I want to use the HID to its full potential by getting the beam width, etc.

If there is anyone in Atlanta, GA who would be willing to let TRS examine the headlights that would be awesome so they can start developing products for us. I would do it, but that is an 8 hour trip and hotel fee's.

If the CX-5 headlamps are made by Koito then they are likely the exact same projectors as the 2nd Gen Mazda 3. H11 halogen with 2.5" lens. If that's the case then the Retro-Quik kit for the 3 would carry over to the CX-5.

That would be nice. I have tried searching and I can not find anything about them. I guess its off to the dealer to see if they can tell me.

Just look on your headlamp assembly for a manufacturer. Also, it is likely the Black Series clear lenses fit the CX-5 projectors as well.

TRS says the black series clear lenses do fit. Hmm...
