Alright. How the hell do you guys remove this thing?

Ok..I've done the searches and tutorials on how to remove the centre vents etc. This thing is giving me some issues. Does one remove the cable from the metal cable-stop or does that whole metal thing come off? Been trying for the last 30 minutes or so. I got the passenger side off and this is the one last thing that's holding me back.

it should all just pop out for you..

I got it now. That metal clip didn't pop out for me. I had to open the tab for the cable to come loose.

Thats all you do, spread the black clip to free the cable.

Ya..after reading every instruction on how to do this...no one was ever that specific.
