Well after looking at a ton of parts for the Camaro last night and whole Camaros on ebay, I came to the sad realization that mine isn't worth the effort. I could buy a 2nd gen Camaro in good shape for about the price of all the metal I would replace anyway, not including paint & any labor cost. If I had the knowledge and the shop it might be a different story.

Still not going to keep the MSP though, I want my second/fun car to be rwd. Thoughts of a LS swapped RX-8 or Miata have enter my brain but I love pro-touring style older cars and have some special love for 2nd gen Camaros but I'll have a couple years before I decide anything.

How's everbody else's Tuesday going? Supposed to be another "major storm" today/tonight

They don't have anything specific for the protege, and it doesn't need anything. I tried to order the Tru-Boost for the MSM last night, but the certificates don't work on the SU site, only on SURE so I have nothing to order.

Are there swap kits for the RX8? Budget 10-15k for miata swap depending on how cheap your motor is, FYI.

not sure if there is a kit but I've seen it done in pictures! I'm sure there will be in the next couple years if there isn't one already. RX-8's seem to be going pretty cheap now

FWIW, I've heard some bad things about Hinson Supercars lately. Why LSx swap? There are a ton of engines out nowadays with much better technology. If I ever swap anything into the RX-7 it'll be the 5.0L out of the new Mustangs.

because they are cheap and plentiful and seem easy to mod and tune.

I sent him an email about moving my sponsorship from the 3 to the MSP, he never responded... when I tried to use the codes on SU it said they had already been used, so I don't know if I'd need new ones. I'd appreciate you talking to him, if he agrees then I'd order the Tru-Boost tonight.
