CX-5 Photos - Share your shots with us!

Just bought this CX-5 Grand Touring w/ Tech Package in Liquid Silver. Wow, what a nice vehicle! The CX-5 is my third Mazda and I hope it's as great as the first two.

I'm sure you'll agree but I think Liquid Silver looks great on the CX-5. They'll be replacing the Metropolitan Gray with Meteor Gray for 2014, which looks great on the CX-9 that I've seen, but I'm going to go with the LS. Just got to keep the black trim clean and bright or else it looks like crap.

Yes! The Mazda 3 I traded in was Liquid Silver as well. The Mazda 3 I had previous to that was the Galaxy Gray which I liked as well. The new Meteor Gray is much better than the Metro Gray (I actually thought about the gray, but not when I saw it in person). I was asking people here how best to keep the black trim nice and I think the best options are Meguiars and 303. I'll have to decide which to use. What do you plan to use?

I have 303 in the garage so I'll start with that. I have also used Eagle1 wax as u dry for the past six years as the only after wash (hand wash) product on my paint and there's not a swirl to be seen and rain always beads.

My CX-5 is the best adventure CUV I ever drive such as.......multiple road trips to Lake Tahoe, and Utah to snowboard, Santa Cruz, and Coastal Beaches to surf, and joyriding in San Francisco.

^ nice shots San Fran. Looks like you're getting the most out of your CX5 and enjoying it.

Hope your 9'ers kick Ravens butt this Sunday. Make them pay for what they did to my Pats.

Great pictures San Fran, nice to see some action shots of the CX-5. How does the FWD handle in the snow with the chains on the tires? One of the reason I am considering AWD is that I try to make it to Colorado about once a year if I can and so there is often some snow driving.

Definitely. No team can stop Kaepernick's playoff energy. He is unstoppable.

CX-5 handled snowy/ice roads very well with chains. The chains gave CX-5 better traction. One day there was bad snowstorm in Lake Tahoe, 1.5 ft of snow, my CX-5 have no problem rolling through due to its better clearance and with help of chains. I would highly recommend to get FWD. AWD is pointless, because it help you to move, not traction. Chain tires improves both, to move and traction.

Disagree, and so do many regular skiers and boarders that live and play in California snow country. AWD with M/S tires are allowed on the highways monitored by CHP without the bother of snow chains in most conditions. Therefore AWD and dealing with "chain controls" in CA is exactly the point.

(Not to mention the traction advantages that come with AWD)

IMHO, AWD plus dedicated winter tires like Blizzaks offer the best solution for snow covered roads.

Thanks guys, in the past I have driven FWD with chains on trips to Colorado so I haven't had an AWD. I don't know Colorado laws on if AWD with M/S tires will allow driving in chain-control areas in that state. But I figure that if I get AWD it won't only help me in Colorado but will help with the traction on wet roads, the way Austinites drive when it rains is pretty crazy, would be nice for better traction.

I have AWD with a good set of winter tires from Barum and I can drive like its dry...maybe -10-20km'h
But I wont be turtle speed or spinning out or getting stuck holding up everyone else when it snows :D

Great pictures from Scotland, Ferry Jambo. Congrats and enjoy!
