The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Sweeeeet. But it will still be a street car too, right? Registered, plates and all that jazz?
yes. I was originally going to get cats and try and pass echeck ... But never thought that thru because the limits for a 4 cylinder are going to be lower than that big v8 will ever be able to meet. So collector plates it is.

Hey I didn't even notice that your by kent state. I hope your miata is street legal because I can't wait to see those purple wheels around. I'm pretty much always on the highway though. And smoke me... :'(
oh yeah I'm right down the road :)

i can't get enough traction to speed up enough to do any sort of snow doughnut.
oh... and my e-brake is still broken-
-we got like 3 inches of snow here in columbus, did anyone in any other parts of ohio get more than that? i gotta know where da snow at so sunday i can go for a nice winter hike yo
snow tires = moar traction!! :) I think we got at least 2", maybe 3?

i'm looking at getting a different exhaust for my protege- i call it... "the big muffler"
I'm mostly interested in the racingBeat, but i'm not sure if i should get the full cat-back kit they sell, or if i should just find a cheap/used axle-back portion. Is there something to be gained from getting the resonator and the mid-pipe racingBeat sells, or since i'm pretty much stock and will be for a long time would it make more sense just to go with the axle-back? I don't expect any real performance gains (i'd feel cooler though) but if there is something to be gained from buying the full kit maybe i could justify $470 for some pipes

If your mid-pipe is in good shape I would just go with the axle back to save some cash. All you are really doing is changing the sound.

Something I came across today. Manuals for all mazda vehicles from 96 and on.

First disable Javascript (not Java) in your browser.

Then point your browser to: "http://am.mazdaserviceinfo.com/emazda/dealersystem/service/esi/en_US/Static_Pages/Index_Page_Service_Manuals.html"

Thanks again for all the help moving, Ivan, V, Marc, Jess, Jake, Patrick and Kevin! The new place is starting to look like a home. I'll have a Mazda get together soon once I'm settled in. :)

Who was the guy in the white speed3? I saw him again yesterday but I'm not sure if he saw me wave thru my tint lol.

That's V. "Viconik" or something here on the forums. You cats call came to Menchies nights but on different nights. Haha.

A couple of us got Menchies Friday night. I missed it so terribly much so I called an emergency Menchies Council meeting.

I'll have to try Menchies next time I up there as much as you guys talk about it
