It's weird you had to remove all those. I have a Sparco wheel and hub in the RX-7 and I retained all those. I had to modify the hub a little (actually meant for a Miata) and the horn's a bit difficult to trigger but that's it. I actually broke my clockspring assembly (stupid 23 year-old plastic) but ordered a new one and everything work's just fine.When I swapped a Sparco on I had to delete the clock spring, airbag and horn. There must be a way to retain these features (but for the airbag) but it wasn't worth the money for an aftermarket wheel IMHO.
You try and get into my racecar which has door-bars and an Ultra-shield race seat without the removing the steering wheel. Unless you are 5 years old or are under a 100lbs, your ass ain't getting in the seat.
