We just got our CX-5 on Friday and this forum helped us make the decision to buy the car, so I figured I would post a couple pictures. We have been getting lake effect snow every day here so the car was clean for all of about two hours after we drove off the lot. It's been great in the snow though!

I got my crystal pearl white CX5 back in December 21, 2012 and here are some photos. We also have a 2005 Mazda 3 2.0R. Thanks and more power to this forum for helping educate new buyers like me.. With our first baby coming, we have decided to get a compact SUV and was choosing between the CX5 and CRV. I have no regrets in choosing the CX5.

Black is a great color....when it's clean. Had 2 of them in a row but living in NY, went shades lighter. How many "no front plate" tickets have you gotten? I'm chicken to leave mine off, or go too dark with window tint since I seem to attract the constables....

Very true on the black. Everything is sealed with Poorboy's EX-P since I got it, and plastic body claddings are properly protected with 303. I got all the detailing goodies on deck. I am honestly AFRAID to street park the car anywhere in metro NY.

So far, none. Though I've only had the CX for a few weeks. The RX-8 haven't had front plates since I've gotten it, which was years ago. Never had a no front plate ticket. Though I must admit that I never street park the RX-8. That is when I actually drive it, which is once in a blue moon.

I'm pushing my luck though. NY enforces front plates heavily. If I ever get pulled over, I'm screwed.

Yet another cloudy rainy day in wales!

Will improve the presentation of the car when the weather allows. The car was delivered in acceptable condition, but I can easily improve on that!

I thought there was a scratch on the silver trim by the gear stick, but it wasn't just the odd bit of glue/sealant/grease (don't know what it was)

It did give me a bit of a shock(eek) but i cleaned it off thank goodness.

Poorboy's EX-P is a sealant. A synthetic wax in other words. 303 Aerospace Protectant (brand and name) is a plastic protectant. 303 is far superior to any Armor All, or even Mother's and Meguiar's.

paris1 - Oh tell me about it. Not to mention the risk of getting sideswiped or rear ended by any given asshole on the road . First day I drove the CX-5 home, some asshole merged onto the highway without signaling or looking, I was in the middle lane, and he plowed into the middle lane forcing me to slam on the brakes and cut hard to the left to keep him from taking out the passenger side of my brand new CX-5. I'll stop the rant here

dad of jon - Congrats! Jealous of how you guys get headlights without the silly amber reflectors on the side. That's a diesel, correct?

Just bought this CX-5 Grand Touring w/ Tech Package in Liquid Silver. Wow, what a nice vehicle! The CX-5 is my third Mazda and I hope it's as great as the first two.

And my 2010 Mazda 3 Grand Touring w/ Tech Package that I traded in. She was a great car!

A lot of great pictures, thanks guys (and girls) for posting. It really is a very stylish car and with looks seems to me to rank with cars which cost twice as much as the CX-5.

I had one person (at night) mention that he thought my new CX-5 was a new Cayenne. Definitely one of the better-looking crossover SUV's at any price.

It is such a great looking car IMO.

Two other people at work are buying the CX-5 after seeing mine.
