Good point Evan, I thought the NASA CCR said something about SFI but it looks like I was wrong. Still good for peace of mind though!
EDIT: By "tube and cloth" I believe they're referring to OEM-style seats that have frames, springs, foam, and cloth stretched over top. Most OEM and "reclineable" aftermarket seats fit this description. It doesn't say anything against using single piece fiberglass, carbon fiber, or kevlar seats though so it doesn't appear to me you'd need an aluminum seat like a Kirkey. It also says "some classes."
