Helloooooooooo

^Awesome! Hope all had a great Christmas. No gifts for me this year. Tight budget. I'll buy myself something come spring time. ;)

That wink tells me that you have something up your sleeve Josh. lol

i got lots of running shorts and apparel yesterday. they will go great with all the cookies i pigged out on

Reminds me of a song from the 90's....

ipod sound system for the office, coffee and itunes gift cards...robin and i got a new brewer and a printer for the apartment...

Ooooo, nice. I should have bought our daughter iTunes gift cards. Every so often I get a nice surprise in my email....iTunes receipts....lol

Hope everyone had a great holiday.

Gave Mary a Coach purse from eBay. Gave the kids money, easier.

My parents gave Mary and I some money, so we bought a Sea Eagle inflatable kayak. Can't wait till it arrives.

Oh yeah

Happy Hump Day.

Tsk, tsk Bruce...taking the easy way out. haha I'm sure it was appreciated though. And nice p/u of the kayak. Have you and Mary selected any places to give it a try yet?

morning all, house update: the final closing date is now scheduled for mid jan. if this doesn't happen i do have another very interested party, so we'll see. having two payments stinks!

In Perdido Key where we are now. We can paddle in the gulf or the inland waterway. We are on the inland waterway and the gulf is across the street.

Hang in there Mark. I hope it all works out.

snow bikes are fun :) My cross bike can handle a bit of snow but not that much.

I got a gopro for Christmas, so there's going to be a lot more cycling videos. The first thing I did with it was strap it to my dog and had her walk around the house.

So I fixed Macy last week but Sat I took Ryan's car out, and it wouldn't start. Ryan and a friend came down to pop-start it and got it home, at least, but now we need to figure out what's up with it. I'm thinking ignition switch.

I also got a quote from Lou's for exhausts for the mazda and the vette. $300 for catback on Macy and $600 for headerback on the vette (dual exhaust). Not bad. Paycheck after next I think i'll get the exhaust done on the mazda so I can get it to pass inspection.

it's not. It's currently still up on jackstands with missing steering parts. At this point I don't know what I'm going to do as far as getting wheels back on it. Unless it's magically not freezing out sometime soon I think I'll have to just put a car cover over it for the winter.

What exactly is happening with the calipers? Did you set the e-brake adjustment? I actually put P5 calipers on the rear of my car and so far so good.

morning, so on the way into work i stop for coffee, cars been running 5-10 mins, get back in the car and off to the highway...i look down at the scan guage and the water temp normally around 191-194 is 188...don't think a whole lot about it, drive for another 25 miles temp starts to come up...i get off the higway and i the first stop light i look down 222??????? by time i get to my office and pull in a parking space it shoots up to 242...i shut her down quick. when it cools down i'll go check the coolant level. i expect i;ve lost some coolant....great!

i replaced mine in april and one of them is already re-frozen. free replacement will be in today. thinking about painting before I install it but I may just wait til spring and paint all 4 black at the same time.

friiidayyyyyy. moving out of my apartment tomorrow :(. im crushed, best year of my life in that place

I'm crossing my fingers that it something cheap and easy like a thermo.

Yep. The failure mode on our lovely Mazda thermostat is "Closed" which is great when that $5 part fails and lunches your engine. There's a reason when mine went in the Miata, I chucked it in the trash and then didn't put a new one in.

I'm surprised of all the P5 caliper issues. I must have been lucky because I never had that with mine.

No snow here...yet. Hopefully tomorrow. :)

Hope it's an easy fix Mark.

RX-8 is running great, although I need to replace my front end links. Got the clunk going on. Haha!

so i checked the coolant and it was low, added some, ran the car to operating temp...rev a few time, waited about 10 mins, it burped a few times...stayed at 198 ;)...now to fix my washer pump!

That's well and good except that the coolant didn't just up and vanish. Gotta find where it's going dude.
