weird starting and running issues

So i recently acquired a msp. The car had an es ecu with a greddy emanage that would activate after 1 psi via o2 clamp. The motor has a slight knock, so I removed the engine with all the greddy stuff and installed a factory msp ecu.

Now the issues im having is the car wont crank right up, you have to crank it for about 5-7 secs then let off and the car will run at like 200 rpms like its flooded then will clear up. After stabilizing at an idle, the afrs are too lean (16.0-17.1), then out of nowhere the car will go extra lean and almost stall out then it will quickly return back to the lean 17.0 ish idle. When trying to drive the car, it will drive ok under very light loads, but has zero power when wot and wont make hardly any boost at all.

Here's what I have changed:
-maf
-cam sensor
-fpr and rail
-ecu
-checked all grounds
-no cels

Tomorrow im going to try and run a boost leak test, check fuel pressure at the rail

Any help will be appreciated

Also, when running a live datastream, at idle, the primary o2 sensor will switch on and off randomly

changed fuel pump, and that was the problem!

I might have to do the same, how did you find out it was the fuel pump, and when the fuel pump was bad did it ake the engine shake and stall sometimes like the engine was'nt getting enough fuel and had lack of power?

It would take forever to start and anytime I gave a good amount of throttle it would just fall on its face. I put a fuel pressure gauge on the feed line and saw I was only getting like 13 psi when cranking which is way too low

Nice :-)

Yeah after your post I ordered a fuel pump replacement(Bosch) and strainer(Bosch) the fuel filter is new(B&A), hopefully those parts will make my engine response solid then after that I'll focus on the brakes again since the brake pads are wearing out soon.

I bet when you put that new pump your car started fresh.

I actuate threw in the used pump from my 100k mile p5. The previous owner of my msp said he replaced the pump with an oem one about a year ago, just weird it crapped out so.quickly
