Clicking sound from front end when driving over small bumps?

Really seems very odd owned about 30 cars and this is the first car I've seen with this much play for a strut boot cover. I was thinking that on bumps this is what is moving up and down as it does not have a nice contact with top/bottom of strut. Anyways if it is normal it was worth a try....frustrating for a new vehichle to create such odd noices...

Off to the dealership Monday to see what they can do.

Today the sounds are worst than ever ... every slight bump in the road caused rattling noises ........

May have stumbled upon a fix---seems like the hood bushings were not contacting hood well enough causing hood to vibrate. Adjusted four bushings to create a tighter contact I well see if it is the cure---

Nope didn't resolve problem....

these creaks are so annoying. i hear them a lot at my work parking garage where there are a lot of small soft bumps or uneven/unlevel surfaces. on a straight, smooth road, no problem.

Rattle sounds are between 15-25 seconds. Turn up volume and listen for rattle rattle. Is this sound familiar to others?

Kind of! All I know is that mine sounds like its coming from up front somewhere! Going to try to make an appointment at the dealership to see if they can help! Can I ask where you bought your CX-5?

Yes sound is from front left and right side as well. We got a dump of snow today an vehicle was outside all day. Sound wasn't apparent on drive home-- wonder if it is related to hood , plastic panels on outside as they were all frozen in place today. I know rattles can be hard to pinpoint and I usually try to figure them out on my own..
Bought CX5 from Kramer Mazda South in Calgary. People were nice hopefully warranty work will be no issue!

Had dealer look at it thought they fixed it but its back .

I bought my Mazda3 from Kramer but I bought my last 2 Mazdas from Stoney Trail Mazda! I have to try to get in for them to have a look! I also have an annoying rattle from the back!

Awesome! Thanks for posting this up everyone. I have been experiencing the same creaks and rattles. I printed the TSB and will be calling my dealership this week to schedule an appointment to fix both the creak and rattle.

I do experience this - rattle in dashboard area when going over bumps. This is noticeable especially during colder mornings!
Looked at the TSB and my VIN should have been fixed. Apparently this is not the case, or something else is causing this.

Where can I find all these TSB's at? for future reference

So had remainder of TSB done and no luck ----- getting frustrating already been to dealer twice and third time will have to be on the agenda
