The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

We have a few things so far, but she doesn't keep any of them in her mouth for long. Her favorites are still her fists. lol

Try wetting up the corner of a wash-rag and putting it in the freezer. That helped a bit with ours.

I'll try that!

The wife made some breastmilk-cicles in ice cube trays, but they were too big to get into her mouth. lol

As of yesterday, I've been a dad for 3 years now.

How about some whiskey? Or just some infant Advil. That helped my kids when they wouldn't sleep while teething. My youngest pulls at his ears a lot. We have to keep his finger nails trimmed or he will make them bleed.

By "D-Day" I assume you mean this is your first child's due date, and yea, I bet I will be a nervous wreck for my first kid.

EDIT: Oh, and congrats

We would rub a little on particularly bad nights on their gums. But infant advil I think has been a life saver. Stock up, you'll need it. A lot of it. Though depending on when they start teething, you probably will need to ask your pediatrician about proper dosing.

Are you serious? I mean, I know it's been a few years since I've been out to visit, but DAMN!

Yeah...so do you feel old now? hahahahaha She's in 10th grade this year and last week we wrote a check for her to sign up for the PSATs. :/ BTW, speaking of visits, out of the blue over the weekend Jared asked when you were coming back out...he's still looking for that ride in Lindsay. LOL

Haha. Tell him at some point after I return from China. Probably summer-ish because I need to fix a couple things.

our youngest is a big boy, so it was hard to tell the dosing. the doctor let us know to go by weight. little chubber almost weighs as much as his sister, who is 25 months older.

We use the infant advil before she goes to sleep if she's biting more than usual.

we used the teething tablets from hylands (or something like that). they worked great for Chloe

I think we use generic target stuff, I'm not in charge of that so I don't really know. I just know how much to give.

infant tylenol was recalled, so yeah, we used the target stuff as well. however, our youngest wasnt really responding to the "tylenol" so we tried infant advil and he seemed much better. use what works best with your kids.

The Ohio crew is growing up before my very eyes. I didn't think it would ever happen... *sniff*
