Oil pan is leaking again.

Rear bar is sitting in the attic. No rear bar installed. Rear brakes are screwed up... again. Shocks are newish. Only thing it needs is an alternator belt, and the exhaust manifold fixed. But there is a brand new eBay header sitting in the car right now.

If it wasn't for the Civic being up and running and reliable, I'd fix the P5 and put it back to DD duty. But I have too many cars.

...you'd want to road race a bunch of $500 crap can with generally inexperienced racers IN a $500 crap-can...without a firesuit, helmet, roll cage, fireproof underwear, etc? Jumping off a bridge is a whole lot cheaper and about as safe (rlaugh)

Sorry Mr Expert, I really don't know much about the chump car race/rules.


fwiw I have all 4 calipers and rotors from my car if need be I will loan them out. I would like to get them back afterwards to see if I could sell them for some extra scrilla. No big loss if something did happen to them though.

I don't know how the scrap yard works, do they pay you cash?

If not, you could donate it to Make-A-Wish for a tax write-off ... they come and tow it away, just need to leave them the keys and the title. They'll give you a receipt for $500 and then take it to auction and if it sells for more than that, they send you a new receipt with the higher price. just throwing it out there ...

It doesn't surprise me at all that he's retiring again. He hasn't been competitive at all since returning, partially due to the car but that hasn't been the case this year. More shocking is that Hamilton is moving to Mercedes who is not competitive whereas McLaren is.... Who knows.

Some pay cash, others give a check. I think this one does a check. Probably get a couple hundred out of it. The Make A Wish idea is a good idea too. I'll have to keep that in mind.
