That's sucky... at least on your darker color car the black scuffs won't show up as much

For the bike racks I ran some mounts that I believe I got through the Mazda Dealer... I want to say they're called "mighty mounts" but I'm not sure. I can post a pic in a day or two.

Mighty Mounts are a Yakima product. No need to get them through a Mazda dealer.

Washed the car today for the first time in weeks

If my eyes are any good, is that a smidgeon of rust on the left side of the hood? i only ask because, well, yeah. I think I've looked through this thread numerous times now and just noticed that. and, in an earlier post of yours you mentioned the miles thing bears no relevance to the contition of a car and sadly that holds true to mine aswell... Body is in terrible condition. The interior on the other hand is immaculate no rips in the leather and the carpets are spotless. Only thing i wish i had was that stinking cargo cover/ parcel shelf!!!

Yeah there is a spot of bubbling rust on the front passenger side of the hood, as well as most everywhere on the car, but I guess that's what you get on Mazdas from Vermont... I brought the car to an autobody shop that quoted me about $1800 to fix everything. I just don't have that kind of money. I've also come to terms with the fact that this is my first car and that it is ten years old with 160k miles, it's not going to be beautiful, but it has literally never left me stranded. I really can't complain, it suits my current needs perfectly.

lol thanks about the boost loading sticker, my girlfriend got it for me so I had to put it on. It's supposed to be a play on turbo lag, but for me, it's actually the entire turbo system that would be loading... natural aspiration FTL

Well, in the pics, it looks rather well looked after. I just have good eyes I think to notice that small blemish. I have the same problem being from Michigan... Rust galore. The guy I bought it off said he could take it to his mate and get the hatch lid, hood, both fenders fixed for $700 (he knew the guy). I kinda wish I let him and paid the extra $700 and all...

At the end of the day, I feel like that's why anyone buys a car- it suits them and their needs perfectly. I feel the same way about my P5, only, I cant drive her till my dad gets back. These cars are awesome though, I love it.

The boost sticker is cool, though yeah, it fits your app differently.I wanna keep my motor N/A. If I do a KL swap, I'll try and work on a ZE...

If you mean the factory crossbars, your best bet would be in the marketplace section of the forum. I personally found mine on eBay. Post up a pic of your roof and I can tell you what you need.

Yeah, you need both pieces. Canadian P5's came with the "filler strips" you have on your car. Luckily, U.S. guys often look to trade their roof rack system for the filler strips. I'd post up in the marketplace saying that you're looking to do a trade.
