the drivers door has started rattling. If I press against the armrest pushing directly out it will stop for a bit but then start up again after awhile. And if I put my arm on the armrest it starts right away and is louder.
Maybe a clip came loose? I am not having this issue with the CX-5 but I do have this exact issue you mention on my other truck and yes it is annoying. It's quiet if nothing is touching it but makes noise when my arm or knee is up against it.
Maybe becuz the window is so thin and that rattling one doesn't align well. Though not a defect that worth going to the dealer wind noise is pretty annoying at highway speed. I often thought I didn't close the window. Why there is no one mention that.
I have taken cars to the dealer for warranty work in the past to resolve rattles...
If it is making you tear your hear out, take it in. Rattles is a top pet peeve of mine.
so far it is somewhat intermittent, I keep hoping it gets constant enough for it to show up at the dealer otherwise I'd just be wasting a day at the dealer with them saying 'nope, don't hear it'
