I just bought a 2012 Mazda 5. I would like to be able to keep the third row up and just sqeeze my groceries in behind. After a shopping trip tonight I proved that all of my stuff will fit into the back behind the 3rd seat. However, my drive is on an incline, so when the door is open almost everything rolls out. So I went online to check out the cargo net, thinking that would be my fix, but was dissapointed to see how small it is. Does anyone know of a net that would go across the entire back to prevent this issue?

I have a cargo net that came with my 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero SW. I can fold it in half and it fills the rear cargo area pretty well. The only drawback is that it has integrated hooks without snaps. I'll have to retrofit carabiners to keep the net secure.

Another option is a storage/cargo net from Target. I have one that is designed as a "pouch" with loops at the corners (so you'll still need snaps or carabiners to secure it). It is usually found where they have garage storage items.

I have a '96 Mustang Convertible with factory cargo net, and it looks to be a good fit for the MZ5, just have to improvise two mounting points.
