I had to apologize to my fellow co-workers for laughing out loud. I saw your disclaimer for more clean car pics and lost it lolz. I had a cylinder2 misfire for awhile, however, coil packs fixed my issue. Dunno where yours would be other than EGR possibly.

well im going to pull the egr, IAC, and swap back in my OE rail and lines tonight too see how that goes. if nothing changes its compression test time

s*** happens its a car that gets used, if nothing broke or went wrong im not trying hard enough.

always, i have a list of ARP already on the way..

Saweet! The head studs were so easy to install. same with the exhaust studs.

I had friends telling me to pull my packs and let them set against something like my exhaust mani shield and look for a spark. Much better ways of doing it, but you can try tracing a spark to it's locations. Try the wires, then the ignition packs, see if it's stopping before the plugs themselves

plugs, wires, coils are all brand new and tested fine.

Figured, I know you well enough to expect that by now. EGR is a mystery to me, guess that's your starting place. Maybe I should just say "vacuum leak" a lot lol

yea not sure what is it, all i know is it is starting to bug me enough I'm debating letting a shop do the work.

EGR Will not cause a Misfire.
Vac Leak will not cause a Misfire.

bad Gas
Running Colder Plugs when you don't need to
Running 94 Octane when you have no reason to
Too Much Boost (Like over 16 PSI on OEM Coils, which is not the case)
Inadequate Spark (Or No Spark because it decided to ground out before making to the plug)
Poorly grounded coils
Rusty Engine mounted Ground

Sloppy Cam/Crank signal (basically a momentary loss of Home/Trigger would make the engine cut out)
Low Fuel Pressure under load which would result in a lean condition (Detonation that could be confused as a misfire)
Running too much advance
Running too much retard
Dirty or Poorly gaped plugs
A Fouled Injector (or mismatched output)
A short in the wiring harness

whats the easiest way to check injectors? or cam/crank sensors?

Vac leak is an inside joke. I thought you unsubscribed?

I was PMed a question

whats the easiest way to check injectors? or cam/crank sensors?

The cam sensor produces a very weak signal. If you have split it between both of your ECUs then you are more likely to have intermittent issues.

Injectors is a two part problem.. A "Noid Light" to check the wiring... and a Flow test to check the injectors.

I bypassed the AEM to see if that was the issue and it was not its in the car itself right now its the ECU controlling everything. Ill see if i can get the injectors checked after work, if not could i swap in my 440s to see if the car runs richer and normally instead of the OE injectors?

but i do believe the AEM uses both cam and crank as well, ill check those at the same time.
thanks

curious as to who sent you a PM if it was about my misfire..

so managed to fix the misfire, stupid pin was loose in the harness for the AEM so it was not receiving proper signal from the crank. Going to fix both of the ends on the flying harness once it stops raining..

temp VC while i had the 2.0l coils and new plugs to see if that fixed it
