APEXi Electronic Throttle Control

Just so we all are on the same page.

That will void all engine and power train warranty that you have

Not if you unplug it....... LOL

Don't think that it is an issue.

However, IIRC, all it does is send an amplified signal to the ECU. When you step on the gas pedal it tells the ECU that you stomped on the pedal. So just stomp on the pedal. I don't believe that there is a difference. Driver training?

For a minute I was gonna say you should try it, then I read John's post. I think he's got a good point here. Maybe you could try calling a distributor to see if they'll allow you to send it back if you're not happy.

That was pretty much my thought when I read the product description, but I thought I would mention it here a) since no one else had, and b) in case someone else saw potential in it. I'm not much of an early-adopter for anything like this, so I wasn't about to buy it, but I was definitely curious to hear other Mazda2 owner reactions since there have been so many throttle complaints here.
