did you have to get a different tail light harness with them lights? i just picked a set up and thats what the dude said i needed to get.

no, you just gotta do a s*** load of customization to make them fit right.
mine came without one of the holes drilled for the lower light. had to drill it out myself, then tape the light in place because there wasn't a screw-into-place spot for it.
but luckly, i'm a one nifty dude and made it work.

that looks ghetto as ****, now i'm definitely not changing taillights, I rather gut my old 7th gen civic taillight LED's and swap over the whole thing. at least i'll be original.
ninja edit: nobody makes a decent set of taillights for protg's WTF!
yeah a tad bit ghetto... but sometimes you gotta do a little custom fab to make things work best. they work great otherwise, haven't had a single issue since i put them on. and they def look better than OEM.
however, that brings up an interesting topic...
i'd love to see another new set or two of tails for the MSP/protege. simple/clean/no azetta or whatever that ugly ass bulls*** is called. just subtle relocation/shape redesign of the reverse lights would be great.
