Why not get a 3M clear bra put on?
I wouldn't mind some trakk tape for behind the wheels though. It takes a ton of time to clean all the rubber off the paint after a weekend at the track.

Yep, the one I have on my MS3 was $725 because I added extras like mirrors and behind each of the wheels. How many track weekends is a roll going to last you? 2-3? At some point the cost of trackk tape would exceed the cost of a clear bra. However, the clear bra is invisible.
The guy that put my clear bra on spent around 6 hours.

I want to have some body work done eventually, so I'm not that concerned about protecting it for now
s***... For me and all of the track weekends I do (chuckle chuckle), I wouldn't be that concerned. BUT, Mazda's paint is so bad thin, daily driving is beyond worth the cost. Hell, in just the few weeks that I was waiting for the paint to cure before having Josh's guy put the new one on the MSM, I got 3 big chips. So much for that.
I don't think it's just Mazda that's using bad paint these days. It's my hope that the clear bra will help retain some of the cars value but who knows. Nonetheless, I'm going to get it on any new car I get just for piece of mind if nothing else. I don't feel so bad when I hit a piece of tire on the highway because as long as it doesn't crack the bumper I'll know the paint is safe

had a very Fast & Furious moment with Marlon today:
tuned spicy again and went for a ride, so I'm in the passenger seat with my laptop, driving around in an orange car with the BOV going off...
too bad we didn't run into a Ferrari...
