Radiusing the fenders tonight. More pictures and better fitment soon.

think i can fit a 17x8 +45 with 245 40"s under my protege without mojor suspension modification? maybe just rolling and pulling fenders? im trying to fit a wider tire than stock for autocross. but trying to keep same height as the stock 215 45 and these are about .1 shorter.

someone help this man out!

I mocked up my old set of 19x8.5 +42 enkei wheels with 215/35/19 tires on my buddy's msp and they would have worked if he didn't have carbon fiber fenders. I don't know much about protege fitment but you'd probably be okay. The tires might be a little wide though, why a 245 on an 8? That will be mushroomed like crazy.

Federal has a new tire out, the 595 evo. It comes in various 16's sizes including 195/40............and 165/40

No that's not a typo lol... soooo you could stretch on a 7 lol

Chef would you say federal's stretch pretty well? They stopped making falken 512's in 205/40 :( and on tyrestretch for 195/40 they don't show the federal or even the s drive but the best stretch they show is toyo proxies and they have about as much stretch as my 205 512's :/ and from what I can tell the 912's don't stretch the same... Not looking to stretch more per say just keep the same soooo I can fix my fenders and know what tires I can run...(need to replace 1 and want to replace the one with the kuhmo....)

The fed ss595 stretched very well on my wheels. I know quite a few other people who swear by them as well. I'd give them a shot. They're probably cheaper than those other options in that size as well.

I don't know how well the 912s stretch but I have also heard that they stretch differently than the 512s. I'll be buying 512s for my temporary set of 18" wheels. Going to need all season performance until I can pick up a few sets that will fit my car now. ;)
