Taking car to NA

Potential Scammer!
I was thinking of taking my car to n/a and selling off all the turbo kit. I feel like this would help the life of the car since they seem to be sketchy. I don't have money for costly repairs and this would put a good chunk of change in my pocket.

What are the downfalls of this plan other than loss of power?

you would then have to buy everything to make your car na, like exhaust, manifold, intake, id recommend a tune or a na ecu, probably the easiest so if you decide to returbo you can just switch out ecus.

No, the oil return is on the windage tray, you would just need to block that off....

I still dont really understand your reasoning for this. Leave the car stock and you shouldnt have any issues with the stock MSP setup.

hes running steedspeed, fmic, unsure of turbo size though
Then I agree, he needs to go NA. And I conveniently have ALL the parts he needs to do this. I'll gladly trade the OP.

Anyone know of good track/autocross alignment specs for the MSP? I have always just gone with stock specs, but now that I have almost a full AWR setup and Rcomps I need a little something more to help with turning.

???

Ok so I'm going NA for sure. I know I need a new header and ECU. I don't know what to do about the turbo lines. Just block them off or reroute them or something I guess? Anything else I need to do?

Please don't for God's sake sell the damn car and buy something you want don't take away everything that makes an MSP an MSP when there are thousands of perfectly good N/A proteges out there. Much easier to find a new car than waste your time removing the turbo, and thinking going n/a is a feasible option to make the car more reliable is absolutely ludicrous.

Just buy a regular protege... It's like taking the venom out of a slightly poisonous snake that if it bit you it wouldn't kill you but would probably make you lightheaded and a little dizzy, enough so that the local kids would probably start running out and grabbing these snakes to go around biting each other as a means to break up the monotony of youth.
