Ebay Exhaust

I am basically convinced that I will be getting this exhaust. How did you install it? Did you have to do anything more than just jack up the car?

EDIT: Also, has anyone had any issue with getting their vehicle inspected?

So my question is, how much of an improvement can you feel (if any??), is it easy to hook up to the stock headers, is it recommended to get different headers first, and last but not least is it any extra parts needed to do the install?

the car feels much better at the high end of the rpm range but you do lose a bit of your low end torque. it hooks right up with the stock cat/mid pipe... (you should go look under your car before you do anything lol). an aftermarket header will give the exhaust a more raspy sound due to the precat being removed. you shouldnt need any extra parts to install it, it should take about 20-30 min to install depending if the bolts on your stock exhaust are seized

All mine was rusted underneath so it took me 2.5 hours bc I realized I didn't have the sawsall blades I needed and weird angles.

I kept mine on. It doesn't look that bad. If you have an extra set of hands you can tighten it down so it sits nicely in the half circle cut in the bumper for it

Really all the sellers sell the same product. And spicy it's 2.25", however when you get it it's actually 60mm tubing.

The 2" is basically stock. 2.25" is a lil more free flowing and a perfect median. If your stock exhaust is rusted on in certain spots youll have to use a bunch of pb blaster and a sawsall, and pry bar

Finally got my order in today and I got a question about the install. When I connect the new exhaust piece to the old cat (which is rusted) i noticed there is a small circular space which looks like it requires a new gasket or spacer. If I were to connect the two ends it looks like there would be a bit of a gap. What do you guys think? Should I just slap it together or look around for something to fill the gap. Any help is appreciated. I would have taken pictures except it was getting dark and I was getting frustrated.

Thanks

Ahhh a nice rust free California P5, how lucky. Is that 2.36 ID or OD? Dig the Harbor freight stands.
