the car won't run long enough to find a leak with carb cleaner. It literally dies as soon as you release the key after starting. I did relocate my MAF in the process because the MAM mani kept melting the hose for the BPV so I relocated to get rid of the bpv and hose.

did you by chance break the fillament Inside the maf? I did that once

I doubt it, I never touched it, no rough handling or anything. It sat on a shelf in my garage until I was ready to put it back in. But, I'll check though

edit: just checked, it is intact

Well yesterday I changed out my fubar'd primary o2 sensor, only to blow my engine fuse. Took me a while to find some fuses so I ended up going to sleep at 12:30pm and back up at 3:30 to get ready only to blow my hot pipe off merging into traffic. It also looks melted/cracked , so that should be fun. Should be headed to knoxville friday or ,.so hopefully I can see some msps along the way
Why?

If oil is in the compressed air outlet of the turbo/hot pipe, is there any other explanation besides bad seals in the turbo?
Turbo has 0 side to side shaft play and only a minute amount of push/pull shaftplay.

Trying to find the correct fitting for my tapped windage tray... Clearance issues are getting the best of me at the moment... Other than that, it's ready! Damn it!
