I got invited along with some friends in my car club to attended the Timeless Ink Tour tattoo convention here in Phoenix next weekend. I'm pretty pumped. They are doing an on site car show type thing in the convention center as part of the weekend of events. No trophies or competition, but there is definitely going to be a ton of foot traffic. I really think the theme of my car will fit in with the tattoo culture and I really hope the event attendees enjoy it.

I did a little note update on my 1st post because I am putting custom QR scan code stickers on my car. Mainly because I won't be at the convention center standing by my car for 3 days to answer the tons of questions people might ask. And I see people look at my car all the time when I'm out and about or at local cruise nights and I really want them to be able to get some background on what they're looking at if I'm not available at the time. Now people will be able to use their smart phones to scan the code and get a link to this here forum.

Check it out, I even made it the colors of the car. (the black background represents a tinted window it's not a part of the stickers)

For the event I'll probably put a 2.5" one on the front corner of the windshield, one on the back window and a 1.5" one on each rear side window. After the event I'll probably take some of them off. I kinda like the minimal stickers on the glass thing I've got going on now.

I think it's only like $20 to get in as a spectator. Should be lots of crazy things/people to see there. They are also doing a tucson one, but I won't be at that one.

Did you ever change the interior light in the hatch out with an LED? I used the links you provided for the other LEDs, I knew you made them work and then felt comfortable buying the same ones you installed. I don't trust myself to pick out leds since there are so many styles and sizes

Not sure I would want to be caught dead in it.. but I am kind of drawn to it in some weird way. Out of all the pastel and neon ridiculous colors you seen on cars now I think this is the only one I have seen that actually pulls it off.

I haven't changed that one yet, but I guess now is as good a time as any. The hatch light is the same basic style as the dome light, but I just took a look and unlike the dome light there is not a lot of room inside under the cover. So you can't do a big 12 LED like I did for the dome. I'm going to go with a more streamlined 6 LED bulb that should fit with no issues. I'm going to order this one here because it's 99 cents with free shipping (I have no Idea how they do that. it must cost 1 cent to manufacture these things). Also the seller has 100% feedback. Seller is in China like the other bulbs so it may be a few weeks for shipping, but hey for 99 cents I'll wait.

I'll be having the RX-8 wheels coated 1st week or two of next month and then I'll have some new updated pics to post as well.
