What have you done to your MSP today?

I am pulling almost 20 inches of merc, still doesnt mean that I dont have a leak somewhere. I know that the exhaust manifold does have a crack in it but to the extent of the crack I am not sure. You can not hear it leaking or anything.
an exhaust leak won't show a vac leak.

I had the same exact issue with my exhaust manifold, it slowly but surely became a big issue. When I got my spicy last july I didn't notice a small crack in the manifold until a month or two after...this winter it turned out to be pretty massive after Me and my buddy took a look at it cough cough (scmp3*) lol. Anyways, I had an intense idol problem, dude it was so bad at a redlight it sounded like I was vrrrrom vrrooming at people, and jumped a good bit. Purchased a vibrant vaccum block and distributed all the lines with silicone ones, no fix! Turned out to be a very bad wastegate and the stock manifold was replaced with a steedspeed months ago, (managed to get the last one street unit had before the last one produced was sold) super lucky. To this day it seems like it runs so much better, but I might need to change out my IAC because I do have a very bad jump when my car is first started and it slowly fixes itself....do believe from what I've been told it's my SSAFC that causes it.

Oh and try cleaning your EGR! brake parts cleaner or whatever you feel that's a good product..most use that i'm pretty sure.

Im on my 3rd round with the EGR. Im gonna grab a Canadian EGR eventually...

Is there supposed to be moisture in it? Couldve been condensation but I think it was coolant.

FML, so much for receiving my 505 manifold. After getting the manifold, I figured I would continue to chase down the idle gremlin in my car before doing anything with the manifold. I got my CEL read a couple of weeks ago, ended up with a P0300 and a P0134. Today, I decided to take a look at the car and found my primary o2 sensor had pretty much melted itself to the MAM manifold and a few wires on the harness side and o2 sensor side of the connector were slightly burnt through the insulation exposing the wires underneath it. I guess that explains my P0134(o2 sensor circuit no activity detected). I cut the burnt section off so I could have clean wires and since the connector itself was useless, I pulled the wires out of the connector and cleaned them since they were sort of corroded somehow. My intent was to take the new o2 sensor connector off and solder the wires together and also extending the wires a little bit to give it some slack so it won't be so close to the manifold and turbo.(one of the many downfalls to the MAM manifold, o2 sensor placement sucks) the wires on the harness side are so freaking brittle that if I attempt to do anything at all with the wires, they break. To top it off, my little cheapo soldering iron doesn't look like it gets hot enough to heat the wires to the point where the solder melts into the wire. I swear this car has turned into more of a job over the past couple of months. Im almost at the point where I just want to drop the car off on post and let the artillery and EOD guys have a ball with it. I honestly don't remember the last time I had a problem free drive.

All that is left for mine to be a perfect street car is a voltage stabilzer (to make up for the Microtech's lack of a battery compensation table), my exhuast hangers are rattling on the crossmember, and for some reason my A/C knob won't turn (guessing the cable is twisted up or something).

The car is pretty balanced now with the amount of power it makes, combined with the brakes, suspension and tires. Once those few little things are fixed I really think I may have built the perfect FWD street car.

yeah, but even you have to admit a lot of your issues are your own doing or something that was over looked. Or at least thats how i read it from what i have read.

Undoubtedly... But having my toy as a DD sucks, though...

just got a phone call my Xc cf reverse cowl hood, Xc cf trunk, and i sport roof spoiler should be here around 8:30 tonight!! Thanks o0n8

Whole bunch of cf goodies in the trunk.....to bad none of its mine. Sadly all I'd want is the roof spoiler....

won't post any updates on it till i'm done its gonna be sick!

and since its vector art, i can easily change colors/make custom ones to match other MSPs!
