The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Still want to sell those parts to me, Nate? Can you snap some more pics of the lip again? I can't remember if it's too banged up or not... :(

Yeah I'll snp some this weekend. I'm going to take it off either way for now so nothing happens to it

Just wanted to pass this along for those of you who know Mark Pombo. Mark was involved in a terrible accident this morning at Road America, where a brake failure led to his #12 Kia catapulted 14ft in the air, barrel rolling as well. Mark broke his shoulder and jaw, he's in stable condition after being life flighted from the track.

dude, you scared the s*** out of me, first time I read it I thought you meant Domo... I was like why the **** is Domo driving a Kia?

still terrible news though

that's a nice looking house, I think Amber wants to stay over on the north-north east side.

Got my hood and my trunk put back to stock, need to figure out how to install the torsion bar thingy for the trunk so it can pop all the way up.

Since this is at Mid-Ohio, I felt it was appropriate to post here ;)

Isn't that after the carosel on the decline going in to turn right? How the hell did he do that?

Hey Guys,

Looks like this is the place to post- no real sense in posting this in its own thread, as it doesn't really contribute to anything. I'm new here and just looking to get into a bit of autocross. I just purchased a 2008 Mazda6, totally stock and I have no experience racing. Actually, it is my first manual car and I've only driven it for a couple of weeks now. So, at least for now, I'd like to start learning about the sport and the community that goes with it. Do you guys have any recommendations to get started? Any good events I should head over to just to watch for awhile? I'm from stow- but i have no problems driving a bit to an event. Any suggestions are appreciated- thanks guys!
