cpe parts interest

I was talking to phen and a cp-e parts rep and he said be would be interesting in producing and selling protege parts at a reasonable price. Let me know what you'd want and he will respond and we work from there. We are only gauging interest here

What is the big deal about having flex fitting on the header? Why not just put your flex fitting in the midpipe? Seems like a much less expensive much easier repair/replace item than the header is.........

..........and is cp-e gonna make these once again?

Cp-e never made that 3 point strut bar. The company you are thinking about is Cp Racing.

Well if they're gonna make one like that, they need to make the egr hookup work and have cat/midpipe bolt on where it meets up with oem catback without having to cut and weld a bunch of stuff and then I might be interested in it.

I've already tried emailing them and no response. I think the high cost is because they take an ebay probe header and modify the EGR and hangers, as well as add the test pipe/cat to bolt up to the oem catback.

Same work that needs to be done to the probe header? And cheapest does not always mean best :)

I have the Probe , MX6, 626, long headers.

It's a pain...lol. Not worth it really unless you have the fabrication tools to make the EGR port, new O2 sensor bungs, hangers, and Midpipe.

Any word on an NA header? CR3 setting up a group buy from Australia. I don't wanna get into it for the price but if CP-E isn't gonna come out with one I may have to
