What have you done to your MSP today?

LoL Egh, Im ok with height. Im more concerned with "known problems" first. Namely a throwout bearing/clutch.... Personally, I wouldnt lower without camber and rear toe adjustments. I came from Hondas but I always had adjustable suspension. A lil different with MSP but I work on tires and Camber wear is no joke! I dunno how people rock negative camber. A little is ok, but some of the things these days. (hand)

Tires are a tad bigger. Didnt think anyone would notice hahah. I have Michelin 215/50 in the rear. OEM sized Nankang 215/45 in the front. Soon to be matched up with the Michelin's all around. But them s**** are insanely expensive. "known problems first".... Again ^^^^ not dropping it. 215/50 fills gaps, and a slightly more comfortable/smoother ride with slight cushion. I live in MA some of the potholes around are VALLEY sized from freezing and snow plows raping them!! hahaha MOST IMPORTANT FACT... TIRES PROTECT RIMS -45 sidewalls is insane to me!! lol I LOVE MY RIMS HAHAH

My thoughts exactly.... I tried those hahahah Tires fall off peoples cars all day at work hahah lol

My car came with 215/45 Blizzaks in April which ABSOLUTELY needed to come off. I stock up on 17" tires popular size, So I had 2 Nankangs in basement hahah LMFAO Then 235/50's rubbed slightly on bumps even on rear RH's. And then finally I came across the 215/50's which fill the gaps more than you'd think without going lower, and increase rim protection.

damn you guys are some serious DIE HARDS!! HAHAHAH YOU NOTICED 5MM SIDEWALL DIFFERENCE!!! HAHAHAH

ALSO!! I FOUND THIS LAST NIGHT!! MY MSP's ORIGINAL "BUILDER"

Original motor blew a piston ooooof course lol He replaced it with a mere 626 w 11k

^^^ Ouch dude! I bet I could balance them bitches close to unnoticeable. ;-) But at the very least. Put the very worst at passengers rear and other bad on your rear. Im sure you already knew that, but.... LOL Wont be as noticeable either way. Especially if you never noticed it before...

well it shakes more after the road force balance and the alignment. i thought thats what the shakign was from... appearntly that pot hole and 1 lowish tire bent the time. They put it on teh machien with no weights on it and did a road force balance. The first time it came out needign 5oz of weight.. for s**** and giggles he did it again and it stated it needed 12 grams of weight! Either way another reason to new new rims later on.. i want to get a set of the rpf01s but not sure if i can do that and still go with 225/45 or 40 / 17 tires.

That sucks man, Ive seen that happen, but you just contradicted. The potholes murdered your rims and tires. LoL 45's already cost you rims, 40's is insane. hahah Then again, We got some jjjjjaaacked roads around here.

I drive on 40 profile tires daily, no issues... granted mine are 245 and 265 wides. lol

If anybody out there wants a 505 mani, PM me!!! You can take my spot on the list, the manis are pretty much ready to go so you dont have to wait.

225/45/17 are larger then 215/45/17 so 225/40/17 would be close to the same over all height of the stock tire size.

noticed my transmission is leaking :(.. i kinda looks like the pass side axle seal area is the culprite then again looks like where the transmission/ and block meet up... another issue.. also had to order the coolant turbo bypass hose from the stealership :( 68 bucks for that sucker..

Naw, width is the 215/225. Height/Sidewall is the 40/45...... Its all a personal preference thing. I wanted a little more cushion, comfort and protection. I really didnt think anyone wouldve noticed the /50 in the rear. It fills the gap nicely without dropping and sacrificing alignment.

It looks huge. I think 45 are fine, ive been on 225/45 for years with no issues.

Unless you're planning to offroad your speed or something...

These cars aren't like hondas, where dropping totally borks the alignment. If anything, a small drop enhances the passive rear steering that the VASTLY superior suspension design you guys are blessed with provides.

Stealth, the 225/45 is bigger (1.4% bigger), but it is substantially closer to stock that 225/40 (2.2% smaller)

IMO, 245/45/16 is the ideal size on these cars... but I'm biased.
