Rims look great wheel gap is horrible. I'm agreeing with Brian painting side markers isn't a good idea safety wise. Even if it was for looks remove the whole thing fill it then paint other wise don't do it at all

Looks really really good and will look 10x better with a drop. Gold on white is always a safe choice and the p5 pulls it off quite nicely with those wheels!

It would have to be one hell of an interesting paint to not allow light through.

This is common in the euro scene. Similar to smoking the marker out, so to speak.

I do have to agree, Brian does post a lot of negative comments regarding anything other than his tastes.

because every cop knows that they are not supposed to be color matched or that it is a turn signal to begin with....

It's also a signal light so people won't know when your turning...

and you have front turn signals and rear ones. not every car has side turn signals. take out the bulb and call it a day.

but the gold looks amazing, i have some cans of grimmspeed gold waiting to go on my wheels in the next week or so. gold is where it is at. drop that lady and shell be looking sexy.

removing it completely by filling the hole left with body filler + sanding is one of my summer projects.. itll look so clean!

i should have had the body shop do it when i had my front bumper replaced...i also made sure to tell them to not drill holes for the front plate..but they did anyways.

Well I just want to point out that Brian changed out his front bumper to one that has no front side markers at all. So essentially, he did the same thing by spending much more money, and is being hypocritical.

Cool wheels though! I don't think I've seen those on a P5 before.

Also it's not a turn signal, the 02's have no side turn signals. It's just a solid orange light that comes on with your parking lights.
The side turn signals would be on the fender directly in front of the door if his car had them.

The sedan has them on the fenders not the p5... And all cars have to have a visible turn signal on the side, the front signal light you can't see from the side and neither is the rear.
