Mojimzer's MZ3 Mods

Hey Guys,

I just got my 2009 MZ3 (3 I Touring Value) on 3-10-12 and I LOVE it(dance). I decided to mod it and share my fun.

So far its just apparence mods but I'll do more later. I've Plasti-dipped the stock rims, Swapped the standard interior lights (Map, Dome, Glove Box, Trunck, and License plate Lights) with Cool white LED's, and put in a light in the engine compartment.

I'll add pics of before and after of all mods as well as links to product pages and How-to's upon request. Feel free to pm me with any questions or suggestions .

I would just ignore those trolls man. People can be douches even if they are Mazda drivers... anyway welcome and Congrats on the purchase! I would go for hids. Definitely a night and day difference! Oh and post some pics of your car!

I'm curious to see this light in your engine compartment? Is it just a map light type thing so you can see the engine or is it more for style?

My personal preference is skip all of those other potential mods except for the HIDs (so that's the one I voted for). But to each his own! I'm looking forward to seeing some more pictures.

I also cleaned up this thread for you and will be keeping an eye on MZ3KiD.

I added it cause there was no light at all. Its a style light but it matches my LED's i swapped inside the car.

LOL, I was just calling around today for tint prices. My co-worker has a civic and got his done cheap with good quality. I'll find out tomorrow where he went. If you guys need links to the LED's or anything feel free to ask.

Tint is a great suggestion. I wouldn't go to a place just because it is cheaper, make sure they do a good job and use high quality film.

There's a few good places near me that do a quality job all are around $150 to $200.

Car looks great man! I voted for HIDs only because I'm not a fan of all the fancy lighting stuff......but to each its own!

I think you did a great job on the rims and I really like the LED strip inside the hood. Where did you buy it? Is it just a regular strip or is it specifically made for that? Just curious.

I had to alter the install a little but it works really well, it was easy too. I like it.

It's not that practical, but would be decent if you have your car at a show or something.
