UnZipHer Mazda2 Build Thread

Nice...I knew the 2 would benefit from leds, wimpy stock lighting is just plain bad. (led torch app on my phone is what ive used when needed)

did some LED lighting... still need to install the fog lights and other various things but i got a few done last night in the 15 minutes i had...

Is that the CorkSport kit, or did you just buy individual LEDs from Autolumination or something?

i went to superbrightleds.com

they have a great car led selector and give you every bulb for each light its genius!

i would have went with the Corksport kit as i believe its a great kit but i happened to stumble across this site and impulse shopped

Thanks Chris. I'm in class Monday-Thursday after work so finding time to get out to the shop has been tough. I need to pick up my shift knob and borrow the fender roller... and maybe do some vinyl work :-)

Can't wait to see the bags... I know you'll do it right.

Better post in the stance thread!

well there air management has arrived!!

it was delivered to work so i can't tear into everything right now. and then i have to go to class after work. but i have some teaser shots. so far just the air management has come in. which is okay... i'm taking my air tank to the powder coater tomorrow and will have time to build a trunk setup, or plan a trunk setup this weekend.

before i dropped the tank off with the coaters i took a pic of it sitting in the trunk to see how much space this thing will be taking up. I plan on building a floor to get rid of this stupid foam worthless piece of s*** that covers the spare tire and mounting the tank to that. i want to keep things as functional as possible... if possible

wood for the floor? i put wood in the trunk of my corolla thin maybe 1/3 inch to hold my amps and 50lbs sub box lololol...only cuz i had Forced induction...hm...but then again...thinking your tank isn't feather light nor will the rest of your setup either...so im just kinda gonna shut up and watch now

check out bikingpro5's protege, and check out his trunk. he pulls it off nicely.

Nice that looks great! is that a tongue & groove manufactured floor? or a traditional hardwood?

click flooring, no glue needed and can be removed easily if i have to. Traditional would be much heavier then this and a lot more work to have lay flat, the manufactured does not absorb water as easy either. I just went to a flooring store and looked around and then bought this stuff to do my basement floor.. these were leftover pieces.
