How are emblems attached?

Hey guys and gals, im just wondering if our emblems have changed to be just 3m taped onto the car or if there are clips that leave holes in the car afterwards?

I know the mazda emblem on the front and the back have clips, but the words mazda?

If you would please...give me a run down on all the emblems if you've taken them off and painted them before.

run hot water or a heat gun on the badges for a bit. then get floss and work it under the badges. they are glued on and with 2 uh..sticks? nubs? that leave holes.

ive taken the mazda2 off and put the demio on, then plastidipped all my badges, then took off the back badges, cut the M and then painted them white a rattlecan.

Thats just for the Mazda insignia right, not the Mazda2 badge location?

both the mazda2 and the M have 2 holes. the mazda2 the holes are sorta in the middle about the same with the M.

ah cool...so i don't need to mark off where my emblem was attached before lol i can use the holes as a guide cool...i usually use masking tape and box where my emblem sits right now

But the "2" has no hole correct? I have the Demio badge on the way and don't really wanna take off the "Mazda" as the actual JDM "Demio" is on the right.

Correct. The "2" is just taped on. I did my car with the proper JDM Demio badging and it worked out perfectly.
