Has anyone seen any actual significant gains with this manifold. I'm torn. I'm thinking about just port matching my manifold I already have, but if there are some serious gains with this 505, then I may have to jump on the band wagon. Can anyone set me straight.
 
What's on deck this weekend for production?
All the runner pipes have been welded to flange, and injector holes are almost done. Plenum boxes are being cut up soon and bent into shape. Things are rolling along quickly now, and by end of next week should have the majority of the pieces done, ready for the final welding.

yes there's serious gains. more so than any stock ported manifold. period.
 
rich will you post the dyno run of this mani on the first page im tiered of seeing the "how much power does this manifold make?" question.
 
I would think your chances of fuel cut would be about the same maybe even more likely if u dont have an ems to tune for the intake

Would it happen even with the stock boost levels? I guess I don't even really know what "fuel cut" is.... I have an idea but what really happens?

I think it can happen at stock boost levels. From what i understand its because the ecu has some safety feature to cut fuel to prevent engine damage. It usually only happens to me when its really cold out. It feels like the car hits a wall and bogs down.
 
Hey guys, another update from the shop here. Pretty much all mill work will be done this week. Hopefully you guys are paid up, because all thats gonna be left is bending plenum box into shape and welding it all up. Again, thanks for your patience, do appreciate it!

Sorry, but wow. My bad for not making this clearer from the beginning of the new thread; this manifold has big gains on most setups.

There you will see what we all went through to get these first ones, and what gains people made. Here is a small clip of my own first impressions from the first proto:

I ran it spiking 9 and holding just over 7 on the baseline runs. Wanted to give plenty of room for improvement without blowing my motor. I also threw in a run with the VICS and VTCS solenoids ziptied fully open.

Ended up pulling comparable numbers to the accelerometer. The bulk of the gain is from 4k up, but 2750-4k is right there with the stocker with no/minimal loss.

229 peak whp at what amounts to stock boost is pretty nasty. (rockon)
