What have you done to your MSP today?

either get the rims milled down on the back side or fender flare....... or which i hope is not an option 4+ degrees of camber maybe.

there are TONS of OEM rims that look similar though. Look at some used ford wheels if you like fat 5 spoke

So I think I'm going to clean my EGR valve to see if that gets rid of the CEL as I've noticed my idle can be a little rough sometimes.

Also, the CEL came on while sitting in a parking lot idling so I'm thinking that might be the culprit considering I've NEVER cleaned the EGR valve haha.

Might go ahead and clean the MAF too...any pointers on that?

*Ahem* Once again, I called it. :p

I've been telling you the car stutters when you get on it for a while now. (peep)

Why not just go to Autozone and buy a new EGR valve and be done with it and not hastle yourself with taking it on and off again. That's what I did last year and haven't had to mess around with anything. Cleaning it just prolongs the problem in my opinion.

Hmmm, perhaps I will...didnt realize they sold them and didnt want to have to buy one from the dealer. How much it was?

Dude, is there a wall nearby you that you could talk to? Cuz you'll probably get a better response from it than you will from EvilMonkey. (rofl) He's kinda stubborn. LOL!

That's what I was going to say. Cleaning it is a bandaid that will need replaced eventually anyway. Skip that step.

I got a little discount because I use to work there, but they are 139.99 You might be able to find cheaper somewhere else? Plus you'll have to look it up under a 02 because the database they use is crap when it comes to a MSP. It will tell you the 03 MSP is not equiped with a ERG valve. Fun stuff. Here is the link:

Ah, so thats why I couldnt find it. Thanks.

Might just have to clean it for now unfortunately.

@evilmonketMSP - when is the last time you Seafoamed both to top clean and in the tank with your gas. Also have you checked the condition of your spark plugs. Might want to replace your pcv while your at it, just because it rattles doesn't mean that the spring is not worn out.

^No problem. Also if anyone is getting pads through AZ, hopefully not, but for some odd reason they are MSP front and Mazda6 rears. The MSP rears will not fit. Go figure. I can't believe I worked there. Oh well.

Where can one get good endlinks for an msp? My boy is about to throw on some eibach prokit springs and i told him he should replace the endlinks too. He doesn't need anything fancy
