They are not great pictures, but they show my car out of the garage which it did under its own power for the first time in well over a year. I just had rinsed it off, I cleaned it the next day, but didn't take any pictures yet. I still have to rubber wheel the trim adhesive off on both sides after I remove the trim still left on the rear fenders. The car still needs to be waxed and buffed, passenger tail installed, new tire, and a couple other odds and ends before I can take it out and get some better pics!
Oh..and the hood is not closed in the pictures which I realized after I took them, lol. Fail.
Coilovers will be going on hopefully by years end, after I finish the motor, because the car sits pretty high with the 4-500 lbs out of it, lol.
Haha...they are still dirty! lol. I love the stock swirlies, I have never had anything else on my Probe(s) after 10 years of ownership. Eventually some Enkei Shoguns or SSR Integral A2s will find their way onto the car, but I am pretty picky and want to find something era correct for the car.
Wait until you guys see what I do with the external cut-off switch
You will be waiting a while, and they are not perfect..they have some curb rash from the previous owner (obviously, since the car has only been driven a little by me, lol). I still have to finish the motor, build a trans, and get the coilovers/lateral bars/sway bar/etc..bought and installed.
Exhaust dump on the front bumper? Almost thought it was turbo.
My old mx6. I miss it dearly but it was time to move on. Talk about a money pit.
She got the royal treatment though. KLDE w/ forged internals (pauter rods and wiseco 8.5:1 pistons), 210 degree cams, new valves, and a full rebuild. Plans for turbo and 350-400whp on boost but I sold her for some stupid reason. She was still fast as a mother with the cams and all bolt ons. Even stripped the interior out and installed cross braces. Had a tubular subframe too.
