Speed 6 Owner - New here

Hello,

I have a 2007 Velocity Red Mazdaspeed 6. Bought my Mazdaspeed 6 in August 2008. Drove from New York to Missouri to get it.

It is a GT, fully loaded with every available option including Navigation system and heated seats (nice for upstate NY winters).

A lot of fun to drive!!!

Hey 04gixx6, I use to live in Thompson Falls MT for about two years. I think I only have seen 1 ms6 while I was up there. Now I'm in Missouri and I too had to drive to South Dakota to purchase my speed6. It's crazy the distance some of us will travel to get a car.

I drove out to Springfield, Missouri to get it, 18hrs each way.

The dealership wasn't that great, they didn't represent some of the flaws on the car correctly. Normally I wouldn't have an issue but it was the plastic exhaust piece that was cracked through. I still haven't spent the $300 to get it replaced.

Love the car though and just got the turbo replaced under warranty and it runs like a new car.

I live in Binghamton. The only other Speed 6's I have seen is a White one that came into a dealership on trade and was bought by someone local. I also saw a Black one once, but it was from PA.

It is nice to have a car that is kind of rare, it tends to get a lot of looks. I drove it out to Cleveland once and tailed another for a few miles, we ended up chatting about them while sitting in traffic together. Haven't seen the Black Cherry in person but have heard it looks amazing.

If it is the right car at the right price I am willing to go just about anywhere to get it. Love how the Red looks on the car. How long have you had yours?

Right on, I just moved up here almost a year ago. I love it so far, nice mild winter so far so I can't complain about that. I haven't seen any MS6's but have seen 2 MS3's running around Billings. I see you're at Leonard Wood, I'm assuming your in the military. Army?

I have family in Springfield, and a cousin that works at a large dealership there. What's the name of the dealership you went to? I have had to replace that piece also. But luckily the wife worked at Mazda, so discount for me! Glad you like the car though, I love mine.
